Clindamycin Phosphate for Injection CAS NO.24729-96-2

Clindamycin is a semisynthetic lincosamide antibiotic that has largely replaced lincomycin due to an improved side effect profile. Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to bacterial 50S ribosomal subunits. It may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the organism and drug concentration.

Active ingredients: clindamycin phosphate.

Description: white or off-white cake or powder.

Dosage Form: lyophilized powder for injection.

Indications:

1. For the treatment of a variety of infectious diseases caused by gram-positive bacteria.

2. For the treatment of a variety of infectious diseases caused by anaerobic bacteria.

Storage: Keep airtight in a cool place at a temperature not above 20 ℃, protect from light.

Shelf Life: 24 months

Dosage and Administration:

It is administrated as a slow intravenous infusion. Before use, add the powder (0.3g) into 50 to 100ml of normal saline or 5% glucose solution for dilution, liquid concentration is less than 6mg/ml, usually, the rate is not exceeded 20mg per minute.
